When Matching Helps

Start from the reference you already have

You do not need to know the exact model name. The quality of the result depends on the available measurements, application details and reference condition.

01

Replacement Products

Match an installed shower roller, hinge, handle or fitting that needs replenishment or replacement.

02

Current Supplier Reference

Compare a product link, catalogue page, model number or existing purchased item with our supply range.

03

New Distributor Range

Use target products and market references to build a focused starting assortment for your customers.

04

Custom or Non-Standard Item

Review a drawing or approved sample to determine whether modification or new production is feasible.

Three Matching Routes

Use the simplest reliable reference

We begin with the information that is easiest for you to provide and request a stronger reference only when it is needed.

Route 1Product Link or Model

Best when the product is already shown on a supplier website, catalogue or existing purchase document.

Route 2Photos + Dimensions

Suitable for an initial comparison when clear multi-angle photos and critical measurements are available.

Route 3Drawing or Physical Sample

Preferred for difficult replacements, glass cut-outs, special threads, non-standard dimensions or close fit requirements.

Glass Hardware Matching

Show the product, glass preparation and installation

Glass hardware that appears similar may differ in mounting geometry, hole positions, wheel offset, handed direction, opening angle or mechanism.

  • Front, rear, side and mounting photos
  • Overall dimensions and centre-to-centre measurements
  • Glass thickness, hole diameter and cut-out drawing
  • Wheel diameter, wheel thickness and wheel arrangement
  • Wall-to-glass, glass-to-glass, top, bottom or side mounting
  • Opening direction, operating angle or soft-close requirement
  • Material, finish, quantity and destination market
For replacement rollers: a photo beside a ruler is useful, but it does not replace a dimensional drawing or sample when fit is critical.

Screw & Fastener Matching

Define both the screw and its application

The same overall dimensions can be produced with different heads, drives, threads, points, materials and finishes. State how and where the screw will be used.

For a faster review: send the current supplier link, specification sheet or drawing together with the installed application and required quantity.

Matching Process

Five controlled steps from reference to quotation

Each stage determines whether the available reference is sufficient or whether additional dimensions, a drawing or a physical sample is required.

Step 1

Send Reference

Provide the link, photos, drawing, specifications and expected quantity.

Step 2

Initial Review

We compare the product with our manufacturing and partner-supply scope.

Step 3

Clarify Details

Missing measurements, materials, finishes and application information are identified.

Step 4

Sample if Needed

Shipping instructions are confirmed before an approved physical sample is sent.

Step 5

Match & Quote

Available match, alternative or development route is confirmed with order-specific terms.

Physical Sample Service

Contact us before sending any sample

A physical sample can improve matching accuracy, but it must be accepted and identified before shipment. Unsolicited parcels may be delayed, refused or impossible to link to an enquiry.

Do not ship samples until Sam confirms the receiving details, contact person and reference information in writing.
1. Obtain written acceptanceSend photos and the reason for matching first. We confirm whether a physical sample is useful.
2. Mark the reference clearlyInclude company name, contact, product name, quantity requirement and the agreed enquiry reference.
3. Confirm shipping responsibilityCourier, freight, customs declaration, duties and related costs are agreed before dispatch.
4. Protect the samplePack moving parts, glass-contact surfaces, threads and finishes to avoid transit damage.
5. Agree on testing and returnAny destructive inspection, disassembly, material test, sample retention or return must be confirmed in writing.

Clear Expectations

What the matching service can—and cannot—confirm

We can evaluate

  • Existing catalogue match or the closest available alternative
  • Manufacturing or coordinated partner-supply route
  • Missing dimensions and specifications required for quotation
  • Sample or drawing requirement for closer review
  • Feasible material, finish, packing and quantity options
  • Customisation route subject to technical and commercial review

We do not assume or guarantee

  • An exact match based only on one photograph
  • Material grade, coating or performance without suitable evidence or testing
  • Compatibility with an installation we have not reviewed
  • Ownership or permission to copy a protected design or brand
  • Compliance for every destination market without stated requirements
  • Sample return, destructive testing or development before written agreement

Frequently Asked Questions

Before requesting a product match

Can you identify a shower door roller from photos?

Often we can narrow the options, but a reliable match may still require wheel dimensions, body dimensions, mounting-hole information, glass thickness and a physical sample. One front photo is rarely enough for a critical replacement.

Can I send my current supplier's product link?

Yes. A public product link, catalogue reference or specification sheet is useful for comparison. We evaluate the available specification and do not reproduce another company's protected branding or confidential information.

Can you copy a custom screw from a physical sample?

Feasibility depends on the dimensions, thread, head, drive, point, material, finish, quantity and permitted manufacturing route. A drawing or measured specification may still be required, and material or coating cannot always be identified by appearance alone.

Do I need to send a sample for every product?

No. Standard products can often be reviewed from a clear link, model, drawing or complete specification. A physical sample is more useful for difficult replacement products, non-standard geometry or fit-sensitive glass hardware.

Who pays for sample shipping and customs charges?

Shipping responsibility, declared information, duties, taxes and any return arrangement must be agreed before dispatch. Do not ship an unsolicited sample or use our receiving details without written confirmation.

Will my physical sample be returned?

Not automatically. Return, retention, disassembly and destructive testing must be confirmed in writing before the sample is sent. Return courier and related costs also need to be agreed.

Can you match small quantities for a trial order?

We focus on small and mid-sized distributors, so practical trial quantities can be reviewed. However, MOQ depends on the product, material, finish, production route and packaging and is confirmed item by item.

Send the product reference you already have

Start with a link, drawing or clear multi-angle photos. Add the expected quantity, destination and packaging requirement, and Sam will identify the next information needed.
